Phase 1 — Captain Draft
Teams 1 through 8 each pick one captain in order. Any player can be a captain. Choose wisely — your captain sets the tone.

Phase 2 — Weighted Random Draw
Remaining players are distributed by weighted lottery. The team that picked first gets the best odds of landing top-tier players each round. It's random — but not equal.
